Join Global Earth Day Celebrations!
Red+Vos and CLIC! (Latin American and Caribbean Youth Movement against Global Warming, in spanish) are joining forces to organize this year’s Earth Day Celebrations.

The purpose: raising awareness about the role each citizen can play in addressing climate change in each community as well as drawing attention to the next United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held at the end of this year in Lima, Peru.
These simultaneous global celebrations are open to all young people (or those who feel young!) and aim to raise awareness amongst citizens about Climate Change and how to take action to minimize our impact on the planet. From little actions and changing everyday behaviours to great ideas and projects!
What is the invitation?
We invite you to be part of or help organize an event in your community, or even add an existing one you’re already working on to the Earth Day Celebrations Map available online on the Red+Vos website.The idea is for every participant in each event to learn what they can do to address climate change and how to go about it. No matter how small the mobilization, city or event, it is important to raise awareness and spread the word on the importance of creating ways to take action and diminish the impacts of Climate Change.
When?
We’ve set out April 27th as a simultaneous Global Celebration Day. However, every event and celebration that take place within the week from April 21st to April 27th are welcome to join!
Where?
Throughout Latin America and the world! You can attend an event or even join us if there’s still no event in your home town. We encourage you to organize one yourself!Find your nearest event in the World Celebration Map.
How can I add my event?
If you want to organize an event in your city/work place/country/school or add an event to our Global Celebration Calendar, GO AHEAD!You can register your event through this form.Download the Campaign Materials to develop any graphic piece you want (T-shirts, flyers, banners, posters, films, etc.) by clicking here.How to spread the message and invite people to your event? Check out this Networking Handbook! Download it by clicking here. Once your event has finished, send us pictures, videos and possible media coverage of the event.
