Are you a writing freak? A photography guru? A video maker passionate? A social media expert? Would you like to share your skills and knowledge with people from around the world at the International Forum for Wellbeing? Join us at the Youth Press Agency!
_
Here you can find all the events that will take place at the International Forum for Wellbeing, which will be held for the first time in Europe, from 3 to 5 May 2018 (provisional), in Grenoble, France.
The main objective of the International Forum for Wellbeing is to promote the exchange of experiences in different sectors of society based on the happiness of people and not on economic growth. In fact, Bhutan was the first country to measure GNH (Gross National Happiness) instead of GDP (Gross Domestic Product). Almost 500 social activists from around the world are expected to be there!
Here is a short documentary where you can find out how the Gross National Happiness was born in Bhutan.
This event is taking place following international works and meetings on wellbeing indicators, and International Conferences on GNH (Growth National Happiness) organized since 2004 through the Center for Bhutan Studies in Bhutan, Canada, Thailand and Brazil.
For this challenge we will select 5 French people and 15 young people from all around the world from the age of 18 and 29 years old.
Your task will be to report what you experience during the Forum from your specific point of view, bearing in mind you will have the possibility to choose whether you prefer to focus your work on writing articles, taking interesting pictures, building videos and keeping up-to-date our Facebook pages.
You will use our website to post your work, which will be published in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.

About Viração & Jangada Viração & Jangada promotes mobilization activities, training courses and events for schools, organizations and the community in general on issues such as education, social action, communication and citizenship, supported by local and international institutions in Europe and Latin America. The Youth Press Agency is one of its main partners, an initiative involving several organizations, social projects and schools in Europe and Latin America, and engaged in the production of online and paper materials on Educommunication, social movements and youth leadership.
Their collaboration has led, among other things, to the participation of young activists from more than ten countries at the last four editions of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) during which they held digital coverage of the discussions. In 2015, the organization participated in the project Let’s Take Care of the Planet. Viração & Jangada believes in a world where the different voices of all generations are of equal importance and can create a future together, and that is what we stand for. We are working hard to achieve our view of the world, with the help of many partners from different countries and engaged in different sectors: companies, schools, communities, teenagers and young people, professionals, networks, non-governmental organizations. Our goal is to promote active citizenship, conscious consumerism, and climatic action among young people at a national and international level, giving them the opportunity to work through creative and successful communication techniques.
