I’m part of a youth-led NGO named Environmental Botanic Club. I’m very happy and proud of representing my country and to be part of the youth delegation from Colombia that travelled all the way to the beautiful city of Lima, Peru. I participated in the COY10, which was held from the 28 to the 30th of November and it was an incredible space where I learnt a lot with hundreds of young people from around the world with whom I shared experiences and knowledge about my culture in order to strengthen relations among countries.
“Union makes strength”, and when something is really your passion, not even the sky is the limit. Now I’m in my first COP, a place where intellectual capital is a blessing and I’m excited to hear stories about the plenary sessions where each country expresses its points of view. I’m happy to know there are so many young people interested and willing to achieve big changes, but it’s even nicer to see how countries are together, no boundaries or frontiers, and all with the objective of achieving the common good for human kind in facing climate change.
